I would love to share with all my wonderful new and existing clients a little about myself. First and foremost my name is Becca and I was born and raised in Glenwood Springs, CO. My whole life I thought I was going to grow up and become a mechanic, but when 2008 happened and many mechanic shops and dealerships closed down I knew I had to chose a different path. My sister then pulled me aside and said she was going to beauty school and that I should go with her. My thought process was like there’s no way that’s something that I would be good at, but I trusted my sister and decided to go. I attended beauty school in 2010 and got a degree in Cosmetology in 2011. I absolutely fell in love with this new career path. I am so grateful for finding something I am so truly passionate about and love doing. During my time in school I got pregnant with my amazing little boy and we’ve been on this journey of life together ever sense. He’s now 10 years old and is the best kid in the world. Right out of school I got a job at the Remede Spa in Aspen, CO. I was there for 10 years and during that time we became a 5 star spa and one of the most recognized spas across the world. They prided themselves by teaching us as many different skill sets as possible. Forbes trainings, products trainings, different massage and facial technique trainings, training on different tools to utilize to help enhance the skin…among many other trainings. The goal is to make everyone have a bespoke experience. I also helped run and teach at a day spa in Glenwood. It was a quaint little day spa that offered hair, skin and nail treatments as well as offered training to become licensed for cosmetology. I was with them for about 8 years and really honed in on what I wanted for my future and starting up my own business. Fast forward to now, I ran into a man who I have known for years and we have now been together for a little over and year. My son and I moved up to Parker so the three of us could be a happy little family with our sweet golden retriever. While being in the Denver area I finally had the opportunity to go to school to become a permanent makeup artist. Doing permanent makeup has been a dream of mine since I started beauty school. I have been doing makeup for models and photographers and brides for over 10 years and wanted to expand my knowledge of makeup and do more to help people feel and look beautiful. Permanent makeup gives me that opportunity. Everyone has that little thing that they nit pick about…my eyebrows are too thin, too sparse, I wish my lips were a little pinker or more neutral toned, maybe you want your eyes to pop a little bit more and want a lash line enhancement. I want to help with all those things and make everyone feel confident within themselves. Which is why I named my spa Goddess Aesthetics. I want to help unleash that inner goddess within you.
